CHARACTER INFORMATION

NAME: Dimo (Jaegermonsters all seem to go by their first names in canon)
CANON: Girl Genius
AGE: In canon and in interviews with the authors of the comic, we are given an idea as to the relative age of the main Jaeger characters to one another, but no clear statement of their age is given. Dimo is, however, at least 100 years old, thanks to the near-immortality that the potion that changed him into a monster grants.
CANON POINT:Prior to his first appearance in the comic, when he and his compatriots are still hunting for the lost heir to the family that they serve.

BACKGROUND: Jaegermonsters in general, and Dimo specifically.
INCENTIVE/FIT: Dimo and his companions voluntarily took on what was known to be a suicide mission in order to preserve the honor of their fellow monstrous soldiers. At the point that I'd like to take him from in his canon, he'll have been looking for the Heterodyne heir for several years, and will jump at the chance to safeguard that his seemingly hopeless mission will, in fact, be a success. When not mired down by duty, he's outgoing and gregarious, with a sly sense of humor, and enjoys meeting new folks, but is easygoing enough to not be overly demanding.
SAMPLES:1, 2

ANYTHING ELSE? The only thing I'd really like Dimo to be able to keep of his monstrous appearance is a yellowish tint to his eyes, if that's all right. Other than that, the claws and the teeth are really more trouble than they're worth when it comes to physical intimacy. In canon, his kind are unnaturally strong, with heightened senses and stomachs seemingly made of cast iron. ;) I'd like to keep him a little stronger than your average person, but certainly not in the carry a horse overhead with one hand that's implied in the comic. I'd also like to drop the phonetic way that his dialogue is spelled out in the comic, though I'd of course keep his diction the same. It's just hard to read when it's all spelled out in that pseudo-Prussian accent.

Also, Background-in-a-page!.
