What they're doing isn't right, and we can't ignore it. But wouldn't it be just as wrong to get uninvolved people hurt doing something like that?

Anyway, it's not like starting a fight is going to show them you're a good person. Better to prove them wrong, right?

At this point, who's uninvolved? Every demi-human in Vohemar is, whether they like it or not, and everyone else should be.

Raising up a horde might not be the best way to solve things, but I don't think any of us should just roll over and accept this. It's not right. It's just people in power picking on those who can't so easily defend themselves, and if we don't push back somehow they'll just keep on doing it.
